i agree with u on some points there, about the characters being static, passive,
the lack of real character development, the lack of good action...and the
"all too sudden scene that seems a bit rushed"...
however, id like to say i was actually satisfied when it ended, at least they
showed us something...apart from the usual monotonous events of vampire hunting,
or slow interaction between the characters. the real plot, when it unfolded took
me quite by surprise. even though they still didnt touch on some parts like the
mysterious red haired woman whom shiki called 'teacher' and who gave him his
glasses...
as for the art, yes, detailed but static. perfectly put.
well you are right about the part of repeating episodes....
The flowers Are detailed and yeah.. season 1 still has a lot of unanswered questions.
